This document governs the manner in which visitors use the OtterPlans website (referred to herein as the “Website”, or “our services”, or “the services”). “We” refers to the author(s) of this document and the creator(s) of the website.
Scope of service
This website offers the possibility to select, visualize and customize the dimensions and characteristics of a representation of a real object through an interface that contains a three-dimensional scene.
A construction plan containing several views of the object and its parts can be generated and freely downloaded in PDF format. This plan is intended to help and guide the user in the realization of the said object by his own means.
No registration is required in order to use the website.
Technical Requirements
The website is intended to be accessed through a modern “evergreen” browser installed in a personal computer with a graphics processing unit (GPU). An Internet connection is required to access the service.

Our services are provided on an “as is” and on a “as available” basis, without any warranties or conditions, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Further, we do not warrant or make any representations concerning the completeness, accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials in this website.
Intellectual Property and Commercial Use
All plans generated from this website are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. Real-life objects made from plans downloaded through this website may be commercially resold or commercially used without mandatory attribution. As the objects are largely configurable, the maker of the real-life object must verify by their own means that the final render of the object is not currently protected by third party rights such as copyright, patents or registered designs, in their own country for the intended use of the object.
The interface of the website, notably the 3D scene, can be used in a commercial context if conditions are respected. Those conditions are:
- The website must be accessed directly (e.g. it must not be embedded in another website)
- The website must not be visually modified in any way by any means
Other original contents of the website, such as drawings and logo, are protected by copyright and cannot be reproduced without authorisation.

It is strictly prohibited to engage in any illegal or fraudulent activities or to attempt to manipulate or disrupt the website's functionality.

While we are doing all we can to prevent it, computation errors can occur when showing an object dimension. The user is encouraged to check the accuracy of the plan before engaging work.
Privacy and Data Protection
We do not collect user personal data. No registration is needed to use the service. No cookies, including third party cookies, are written on the browser. We use Vercel Analytics to view basic site statistics in a privacy-preserving manner. We use Sentry.io to view errors and crashes.
Modification and Termination
We reserve the right to modify or terminate the Terms of Service and the services provided by the website at any time. Users will be notified by a message appearing on the home page.
Governing Law
In case of any disputes that may arise, the French law is designated as the governing law that governs our Terms of Service.
